Norrøna produce some of the finest technical outdoor clothing available anywhere in the world. The history of Norrøna dates back to 1929 when a Norwegian outdoor enthusiast, named, Jorgen Jorgensen, began searching for durable outdoor equipment that would work in Norway’s harsh winter climate. He started out by sourcing quality materials and began making his own leather straps, canvas backpacks, and cotton clothing; this set the precedence for Norrøna’s quest to produce clothing and equipment from the finest materials available.
Today, four generations later, Norrøna are still a family owned and run business based near Oslo. Being a family controlled business, Norrøna’s in-house team of designers and craftsmen are able to control the whole process of design and production at every step of the way.
So whether you’re a Mountaineer, climber, an adventure skier or snowboarder, we believe that Norrøna’s range of technical clothing will provide you with a feeling of confidence that will inspire you to push yourself to the limits of endurance.
